I'm Leaving

Postby Matt » Thu Sep 02, 2004 2:31 pm

Hi Guys, Just thought I may as well tell you now that on the 26th September I am leaving home for University. I am planning on getting a laptop whilst I'm away but I dont know how easy it will be to connect to the internet etc.

Basically, if you dont hear from me for a while, you know where I am.

Its been (and hopefully will continue to be) a pleasure!

Elvis will be leaving the building

Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis will very shortly be leaving the building.

Great news, Matt - I hope you will really enjoy yourself at Uni and maybe get a degree in the end (a smart guy like you will have no problem).

Anyway, I'm sure you will be able to access the internet there - every University I think give you a student e-mail account and there's bound to be lots of computer suites for you to use, so you'll still be able to give your invaluable contributions to this distinguished forum - if not I don't know what Despondence, thenewaustria, myself ,and other regulars will do without your interesting topics.

I hope you'll find a bit of time also to write a few snatches of poesy - don't give up hope yet, the laurels are there to be won by anyone.

Best of luck, and as Keats would say "Fill for me a brimming bowl".
"Oh what a misery it is to have an intellect in splints".
