I wonder what Percy Shelley used to eat besides his veggies? I wonder if they made nut roasts then.

I suppose he ate cheese and eggs too. But no houmous- poor thing. :lol:

And Shelley would never have had the joy of tasting Indian cuisine. Some of the best vegetarian food out there is in the Indian tradition. Thai is also fabulous. . .oh, starting to get hungry over here. . .

I've read he liked broccoli yes. Are you kidding? it was probably healthier- fresh and organic vegetables and fruits that I in, the c21st have to pay more for as I don't want to eat additives and pesticides! Maybe less variety- but the food would have had more vitamins in it. We only need 15% protein in our diets- a handful of nuts and an egg a day would have been enough to keep Percy Shelley healthy.
