Little drawings in Keats' medical notebook

Postby jesleeall » Wed Oct 06, 2010 4:50 pm

I've often wanted to see the doodles Keats was said to have drawn in his lecture notes during classes. This film is not great but it briefly shows some of the little flowers he drew on the edges of his notes.

Thanks for that- my mobile broadband doesn't load up videos- too slow, but will watch it next time I'm in the library.

Thanks for the video. A nice keeper to share with....will share with anybody who will listen.

That was great thank you! I'd love to read his medical notes- wish they would be published! It'd be interesting to read what he was being taught. That picture of the man screaming being held down on the operating table..*shudder*. Why didn't they just knock them out with Opium???
