Happy Birthday, Keats!

Postby Credo Buffa » Fri Oct 31, 2008 3:47 pm

As always, October 31st is not just Halloween, but our favorite poet's birthday. I shall be purchasing a bottle of claret with which to toast the man this evening. Anyone else have any ways you like to honor the day?

I never really celebrate Halloween, or dead people's birthdays but I may read a few odes in Keats' honour.

Happy 213th Birthday Junkets :D

I think I will raise a glass of wine to the good man, myself! Although, in my case, it will be a cheap glass of Gallo  And read my favorite odes.

I actually sprung for absinthe this year, but still had the Happy Birthday Keats/Hallowe'en party complete with the poetry reading. It was awesome and I have to say, for the record, I'm glad I have friends who indulge me. :D
