In doing my diligent research for my masters thesis--I came upon this gem...spectacular...

It was published in the 1848 ed. of the Atlantic Monthly...

It made me feel as though I had won a little jackpot in our local state lotto drawing...I was a bit weak-kneed. I am desperately trying to find info on Charles Cowden Clarke's memoirs of Keats's school days at Enfield...I hope I can find some gems when I get to London in January--I want to get up to Enfield--have a look at the local terrain there. I found a book at the St. Thomas library about 19th C. 'public' boys' schools in London-- this will help me get started...I have to produce my biblio (minimum of 20 sources) by semester's end... :!:

I am equally excited about being able to go to Ireland for a few days...
