Keats and opium (Daily Telegraph)

Now the UK's Telegraph is airing claims by Dr Thomas Dormandy that "opium helped to inspire Keats's great odes". The odes were, he argues, a product of "the magical conspiracy between opium, tuberculosis and God."

Enough already! I think I'm going to quit reading newspapers altogether and stick solely to books :wink: . I'll be giving Dormandy's book a wide berth.

I think he's possibly confusing Keats with Coleridge...
