I want to have an avatar! Why can't we have avatars?

Avatars

Postby Thilo » Fri Apr 02, 2004 9:17 am

Hi Golyadkin,

I have activated the avatar function. Let's see how it works. On my German forum (www.rilke.de), some people were already annoyed by the emoticons because they distract from poetry. Perhaps anglo-saxons are more open to that, or perhaps John Keats readers are more open.

Best regards,
Thilo

Wait, why is there a limit of 6kb? The avatar I want to upload is 19kb. Oh well.

Where did the avatar function go?
The avatar I want is at http://www.thetechzone.com/photo/computers.php?photo=3233&password=&sort=1&cat=998&page=1 for anyone who's curious.

hehehe :D

I just wanted to ask if anyone can see my avatar? Its a picture of Marc Bolan (he rocks, almost as much as Keats..) but all i can see is a little red cross :(
Maybe I'll find on the way down the line, that I'm free- free to be me (8 years on, I think I've achieved this ;))

Nope, not working (or at least, I don't see it). Did you upload it or link it? (I used the linking option).

Yes, I can really relate to this guy - my alter ego, el Zoido is!

Although, it occurred to me now, somehow the image of this slithery exoskeletal ambulatory amphibian nincompoop doesn't quite jibe with my chosen alias. Dang. Might have to work on that...dig up something more....representative.
