The number of 'views' is flawed.

This is not a very interesting point, but something I never thought of before.

I just noticed (doh) that the number of views of a post includes the author's own viewing, and therefore the number shown is misrepresentative of the true number of viewings.

Is there any way that you can block the author's viewings from the count in order to give a fairer picture of the reading habits of the forum users?

Hi Stephen,

I have found no way of solving this problem through the administration panel and I do not dare change something in the basic code for this problem.

I think we'll have to live with this problem for now.
