hey people-

I was playing on the internet and ran across some Keats' quotes - which led to Keats' letters - which led to Keats' poems - which leads to this: what is a good volume (or book or something) of Keats' poems and letters to start out with? Could you recommend one?

thanks in advance,
peter

An excellent one-volume compendium is from the Oxord World's Classics Major Works series.

Keats: The Major Works includes all his most significant work and a very generous selection of his most important and characteristic letters also. It has some very useful and perceptive notes also.

Well worth it for any newbie to the world of Keats - highly recommended.
