Jonsi is so sweet and funny- and makes great music.
John....you did not live to see-
who we are because of what you left,
what it is we are in what we make of you.

I heard about him because a favorite composer of mine, Nico Muhly, did the arrangements for the album. I've been meaning to listen to the entire album since its release. What I have listened to is simply marvelous.

Jonsi is brilliant- have you seen him playing guitar with a cello bow?

To see why Sigur Ros are the best "pop" band ever:

Truly awesome!
Though, personally I think they defy classification.I have the album this is on. The album doesn't have a title- the cover is white with brackets on it, leading some people to call it "brackets." Originally the songs also had no titles but later on were given some. This track is called Popplagið.The video shows the cresenco of the song- the beginning isn't on it- the track is 11:44 long.

Thanks for the links, Raphael. The music is very expansive, it feels like I'm immersed in sound -- like a luxurious pool. I heard about the cello bow bit, but I hadn't the chance to see it until now.
