Great news about Ben :) I have absolutely no doubt that he will have a great career and probably will someday end up a "Sir" with so many other great British actors. He's the kind of actor who's in love with the craft and doesn't care if he is famous or not. (I don't ever see him being a "celebrity" and that is so refreshing!) From the interviews I've read, he was born to the craft. Wish I had HBO--but I expect the series will be out on Netflix for rental.

Great news! I hope I'll get the chance to see the series when it comes out.

BTW, has anyone else seen My Brother Tom?

Hey, Everyone!

For those who can't seem to get enough of (pretty!!) Ben Whishaw, check out the following site:

(When you type in the address, you'll need to spell out "f**k!! I was going to, but my "sensibilities" won out. Doesn't bother me at all to say the word, but there's something altogether different about writing it!!)

Nah, not really, Raphael! I would just like to think I have a fairly decent memory for things (in this case, people) Keats-related . . . . !

And rejoice I am!! Thanks for the link/info, Saturn.
Speaking of Whishaw and Shakespeare: what ever happened to "The Tempest"???!!! Does anyone know? It was supposed to be released back in December. I can't even find it on DVD. . . .

It was a limited release a few months back, didn't show in the mainstream multiuberplex cinemas I don't think.
I'm sure if you look on Amazon or wherever the DVD will be out soon.

From what I've read it's all style over substance to be honest, and having that complete waste of air Russel Brand in it really puts me off ever watching it, I can't bear him.

I've just checked Netflix -- The Tempest is not yet out on DVD.
I think Julie Taymor is brilliant! Helen Mirren is an interesting choice for Prospera[/o] -- and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the role. But, I agree with you, Saturn, Russel Brand -- and his giant ego -- make me grind my teeth [rrrrrrrr-rrrrrr-rrrrrrrr]at the thought of having to sit through any movie with him in it.

Julie Taymor's Titus was extraordinary, I just hope The Tempest is half as good.
