"The hours when the mind is absorbed by beauty..."

I just came across a quote of the English nature writer Richard Jefferies (1848-1887), which I wanted to share with you and to which our Keats would have heartily subscribed (I imagine):

"The hours when the mind is absorbed by beauty are the only hours we live."
"Why should we be owls, when we can be Eagles?" (Keats to Reynolds, 3 February 1818)

Great!! :D
John....you did not live to see-
who we are because of what you left,
what it is we are in what we make of you.

A fun thought.
"Come... dry your eyes, for you are life, rarer than a quark and unpredictable beyond the dreams of Heisenberg; the clay in which the forces that shape all things leave their fingerprints most clearly. Dry your eyes... and let's go home."
