Any Keats enthusiasts want to volunteer? I would if I lived in London (or the UK for that matter)!

Volunteering at Keats House has been on my bucket list for *years*. Who knows? If I win the lottery, I'm there!

Oh, and I don't know if anyone else was ignorant of this (as I was), but the Bentley house at Well Walk--the *very* house Keats lived in--is still standing and, I believe, rents out (and an exorbitant price) to visitors. I wonder if there are any Keatsian ghosts walking through those hallways . . .

Let's go find out! When I was last in London (July, 2009), I went looking for Number 1, Well Walk and couldn't locate it. Walked all the way up that hill, found the well, and at the crest of the hill there was a building that housed the Hampstead Museum. If I remember correctly, the name of the road changed at the top of the hill, so I trudged back down, toward the Heath, and still couldn't find that house!

Ennis, there's a thread from a year ago or so from someone who posted a photo of the house- think it was for sale then- hugely expensive!

Volunteering at Keats House? If only....sigh...

Still not been to visit it. :(
