25 years today John Lennon was shot dead.

Here's my own little own 'tribute'

Nah - the 60's were good, man. Not that I was there, but I've been told... :) Now the 80's - that was a decade best forgotten, better off erased from the history books and never ever made into a sitcom, if you ask me.. But Lennon - he's instant karma, still today. Damn, they just don't make 'em like that anymore. I remember a random quote from a film (The Committments, I think it was) "It's all shite anyway since John Lennon died". Aye.

Side note: the other day, as I was walking back across the campus from the Red Door Café with my morning java, I came across a small huddle of students sitting on a span bridging a pond, playing and singing "Give peace a chance". Clichéd, maybe, but somehow their karma induced pacifism rubbed off on me, and I thought, there is hope.
