Compassion

Postby Saturn » Mon Oct 11, 2010 8:25 pm

A tower of strength
In a body so frail it
Could hardly support
It's own little weight
She took in hand the
Inflicted, even when
Shrunk to nothing.

That is compassion
Made flesh: the will
To heal when healing
Deserts the bark itself;
To throw out a line
When almost sunk,
Struggling for breath.

Farewell kind soul, I'll
Remember your words,
Your comfort and care
When you found none
For yourself. Go rest
In peace and silence
We will hold the line.

Heart warming tribute Saturn.
Take care.
Marwood.
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen.
