Symphonic Rain
G Collins, 2/10/2010
Incline to eavesdrop on the sound
of
soft
splashing
Ageless needles drop from a tireless pine
Their descent releases thin translucent pools
Into larger puddles on the pavement parking lot
Silvery spites nose-dive toward a parched earth
Their sweating skin soaks through soil
Suppressing the resonance of nature into silken slumbering
Watery crescents form around a castle of pebbles
A crystalline queen sleeps within her shelter
She's subconsciously whispering secrets into the drizzly darkness

I liked the first half of this poem the best. To make something beautiful out of a puddle on a parking lot is not easy, congratulations.
Animals have the right to be eaten! Yum Yum!
