Oh my. This is splendid. I love your rhymes, I love the concept of the grape flowing into a life of eternal beauty, and I love everything about it. Thank you so much for posting this.

...I had played around with the idea of posting it as a reply in your "Colors" thread because it is an indirect reply to that lush and radiant poem of yours. I think that it is important for the participants of any good poetry forum to each regularly practice speaking with poetry to one another, as if poetry were a separate language from prose, similar to the way that English is a separate language from French, in order for each of them to become all the more fluent in the language of poetry. For each newly posted poem to be in direct or indirect reply to the poems already posted, for a poetic conversation to emerge between a great many voices.

That is a splendid idea. Much like learning another language, poetry should be practiced in order to get a feel of the words. I think that I'll take up the practice.

You two are so far above me ( to use a phrase used in Bright Star :D )..real poets, word weavers, advanced in concepts, musings...what a great poem, I read it in my head and could feel the rich rhythm, almost see Dionysus and the grapes. I marvel at such talent.
