Winter nest

Winter nest

You are my Winter's nest,
My sweet Summer's rest,
My falling Autumn leaves,
And budding Spring eves,
My night and every day,
My early morning grey
My hope, and my breath,
My birth and my death.
All I ever wish to be
Is one and all to thee.

So beautiful and moving in its simplicity -all in just ten lines and in between the rythm and the rhyme.

Thanks for the kind words steffen, it was intended to be short, sing-song like, almost like a lullaby.

I agree Saturn, lovely.
Take care.
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen.

I like that Saturn. The idea of safe nests is sweet. I am very fond of birds and many birds are very caring to their young.
John....you did not live to see-
who we are because of what you left,
what it is we are in what we make of you.
