Sieve

Nothing touches you:
A torrent will pass
You by, and nothing
Will rattle your cage.

Helpless, I spilled an
Eruption and spread
My heart's lament all
Over you; an overflow.

Water through a sieve,
You absorb like a sluice
Gate, catching a little
Meaning but substance,

Feeling, heartache, all
The big emotions gush
Past you unremarked as
I empty my vessel of love.

Love this one, Saturn. I’m a sucker for this kind of poetry...
