The Opened Doors of Truth

Certain truths have now come to light -
That once made me stir and toss in the night,
Forcing torrential movements through my brain:
Such tumultuous feelings could one barely contain;
As some hearts beat much too deep
With a pang that oft finds no sleep -
But 'tis no sadness or madness of sorts,
Merely the soul, refilled by divine thoughts.

And suddenly 'here' I find myself cleansed
Now all worries and fears are pointless and spent -
As I behold the sweet, satiating truth
That eradicates the dark and the gloom,
Helping us travel on, wearied, but ever renewed.
How ever can such pernicious moods
Break open a love sourced from innermost regions
Which comes untainted, glorious, in infinite legions.

Could it be that the heart was made to be broken?
Is there something unspeakable in us to be opened?

These lines grabbed me:

Break open a love sourced from innermost regions
Which comes untainted, glorious, in infinite legions.

Could it be that the heart was made to be broken?
Is there something unspeakable in us to be opened?

HH, you have a certain specific way of weaving such purposeful meaning through your rhymes...well written... :!:

Thank you. :D The poet appears to be one of those lucky few who display the unique human ability to discern Divinity in everything, from the smallest effects to their Highest Cause.

I love your closing lines H&H

Could it be that the heart was made to be broken?
Is there something unspeakable in us to be opened?

Fantastic, but I expect nothing less of you. :D I have to agree with everyone else, the final couplet is superb.
