Summer Breeze

Postby soumya » Mon Feb 21, 2005 6:50 am

Summer breeze passing by my face
I wonder why I left the isle in haste
Like smoke in the water
I’ll have to live here and for ever
Things are never black and white
Rays of the Sun is no more bright
I love to see the stars on a dark black night
Summer breeze passing by my shoulders
I look at the stars and like a child I wonder.
Blue sky, white clouds, and green everywhere
The train journey when I saw hills and the mere.
Then again came the summer breeze
Blew me with the soothing wind in ease
Words and only words are my little possession
Lost in the wind and snow of a distant land
Here I’m with my romantic heart
Listen to the birds and my form of art
Are you talking through your sparkling eyes?
Can you see the world in my brown eyes?
Treasured moments when I’m near you
May be everything is altered and new.
Do you think someday you'd realise
And you will see yourself in my eyes?
But I am scared of your feelings
May be I’m again day dreaming
And yet I just can't ask you to stop my cries
Can you see the world in my dark brown eyes?
Summer breeze brings shiver in me
Power of the world’s guide me,
the breeze of Cold Night may end
into the cave of dead dreams.
There the nights I spent in blunder,
in the dark and silent thunder,
Lines of poetry...a misuse of space!
Meaningless verses going for waste.
Nothing open, is anything new?
Filling no barrenness between me and you.
Whether whispered with care or shouted in hate,
too many words, too little, may be its too late.
Watch as this tear falls into unfilled space
See it drop into life's nameless place
Can you see the sparkle as it catches the light
That sparkle once was happiness that is no longer in sight
As it falls watch it, its colour has changed
From blue to bright red, it has a wide range
There it goes all alone, it continues to fall
With it, it takes the emotion, the emotion of all
Wait, can you hear it? A sob has broke free
Has shook the lungs cold, but yet it continues to be
Here it comes, a force has been built between the eye
A wall of shear water, it's now time to cry
A shudder, a scream, darkness envelops your soul
The darkness of the night has taken its toll
Cold summer breeze passed my soul.
