Black Rose... (A Romantic poem)

Black Rose

One single black rose, lies in bleak beauty.

I want to take her, hold her by my chest

hold her in my hands, the rare piece, rare to see

far away she is, not within my loving grasp.

Deep in the petals, her face shines so bright.

I reach out, her inviting smiles, but

the sting of touching her, pain of the thorns

I again see but where is she?

I see her friends in red, but where is she?

I run in the garden of smiling roses

Looking at me, they smile and dance

My illusion is humorous for them

Was it a dream, I saw with my eyes wide open?

They are laughing, how harsh of them

But why I can't appreciate the red beauty?

I fall, crawling, the smell of the soil

Still can smell her sweetness in this turmoil

I gaze in this mystic Rosa garden

Lost…lost what...lost in what…..?
