Full moon

Full moon can you feel
The ghostly gray clouds,
The wispy fingers trace
Shadows 'cross your brow?

Paper-lantern goddess hung
In the early autumn skies
Does your body ever feel
The cold breeze of midnight?

Do you ever sense your power
In the witching time of dusk,
Is the time of your dim rule
A cause for relish or delight?

From your lonely pale height
May you ever keep in check
The darkness and the gloom,
May you ever weave your spell
On the great ocean's swell.
"Oh what a misery it is to have an intellect in splints".

The full moon is very magical and mysterious,
I enjoyed your poem, thanks for sharing.
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen.

Love it!

But, when I am consumed in the fire,
Give me new Phoenix wings to fly at my desire."
