Hey Saturn! Do you have all the Nightingale Ode recordings yet? Has everyone done their part and recorded their stanzas? If not, I'm issuing a reminder to our volunteer readers :) I can't wait to hear the poem as spoken by people from all over the world.

In have been a bit complacent but today I have uploaded the stanzas you recorded and I hope to do my own tomorrow - but no-one else has done theirs yet, or have not sent them to me yet

See here for Malia's readings:

I've not yet been able to do mine either. I was planning on Saturday, but ended up being engaged elsewhere for the whole day. My problem is finding the best time/location to record so that the general noise in my house won't get in the way.

So much for living at home

I know the feeling, Credo. I had to record my stanzas while mom and dad were away at church on Sunday

I've been sitting on my reading since Saturday or so because I wasn't really happy with it. I sound sombre but I don't feel that way about this poem at all. In any case, I will send Saturn my stanza two right after this message.

Your readings were lovely Malia! I am also amazed at how good the quality of your files are.

Could someone kindly check all the files on the site and tell me which ones they find are not working as I am experiencing problems with some of them and they may need to be reuploaded.

I would be very grateful if someone took the time to check these for me.

:D

I've exceeded my download limit this month so my connection speed is as slow as a crippled snail. In any case, I managed to play all of the Nightingale stanzas up there with no problems. I am starting to think that using my mobile phone as a recording device is really below par and I want to look around for a proper microphone and record my two stanzas again. Sorry guys, bear with me!

So I should do IV then, if I read correctly?

Dumb question of the week -- how does one send you the file? I don't know what your email is, and the web mail via the board doesn't seem to accomodate attachments? Or maybe it's 1.30 am and I'm too cross-eyed to make heads or tails of anything.
