Beautiful Soul

What dreams you may have had

To heal, to help
At first to learn
But a poets soul cannot be silenced

Words were to be your medicine
The scratch of pen on paper, your lifes rhythm

No easy path you walked
A fairweather friend was joy

Your family suffered
Your life was changed

But still your gentle spirit thought,
And wrote,
And loved.

Though fate was cruel
And days cut short

Never did your heart give in
You loved even as your life slipped away

Beautiful poet
Beautiful soul

A thing of beauty will be a joy forever.

Sums up Keats very well.

"Words were to be your medicine".

Very true.
"Oh what a misery it is to have an intellect in splints".

That was touching. x did not live to see-
who we are because of what you left,
what it is we are in what we make of you.
