Snow watching

Snow watching:
A million tiny deaths
No cries, no sound,
Sacrificial lambs drop
To a beautiful grave.
Condensation clings
Like wrapping paper,
Gifting the cold glass.
Much of life seems
Like snow watching,
A headlong rush
To inevitable ends.
Yet we clump, we fall
And career to ground
As if a snowflake
Was made to last.
"Oh what a misery it is to have an intellect in splints".
