Will you have the time?

Will you have the time?

Will you have the time
When summer's bloom
Turns to Autumn's decay?

Will you have the time
As the clear-blue skies
Fade to the misty gray?

Will you have the time
When great Nature hides
Cowering from the frost?

Will your affection fade
With a season's decline?
Will your heart be free
As now it seems to be;
Will my place be gone?

Must I only see you now
When the moon is high
And certain stars appear?
Must planetary conjunction
Rule the time we spend?

When new faces surround,
New voices touch your ear
Will I still meet you then
When life carries you far
On the rapid high-tide?

Will you still greet me
In the old familiar way;
Will I still I feel the warmth
Of that beloved embrace;
Will it still feel the same?

I really like how the structure of the poem reflects the subject. The stanzas lengthening as time seems to lengthen toward the end of the year is very creative.
"Let me not wander in a barren dream,
But, when I am consumed in the fire,
Give me new Phoenix wings to fly at my desire."
