Is there any way you can upload it to yousendit as an MP3 file? My computer doesn't recognize this one--even when I try to import it to iTunes.

Oh right, you're working from a Mac, right? That does pose a bit of a problem.

I might possibly be able to get it as an mp3, but it could take awhile. I can't do it on my laptop here, so I'll have to get on another computer that will rip mp3s.

Malia - I never got those two links to work, which you posted. Is there a trick I'm not aware of, or smth? Help please :?

Hmm. . .I can't figure it out either, actually. :?

I'll have to try sending the file to Sendmefile.com again from my Hard Drive at home.

I've found a new way of hosting the files - there's a site called http://www.putfile.com/ on which you can upload files so people can listen to/watch them.

I'll see if I can uplaod all the reordings I have by you all onto this site and post the links for you all to enjoy :D

I'll give it my best shot - it will mean you don't have to download a file to hear it - just click on the link and be able to hear it straightaway [I hope :? ].

I've uploaded the files for you [except for Credo's music which it won't accept :( ]

See my new putfile homepage:

Click on the links to hear the audio :D

I will upload Credo's wonderful piece of music on another server which should let it remain there as long as you need it. :D

Forget what I wrote before - got it working now, cheers! (nice one by Malia there too, very impassioned, and great sound quality)

What do you think of my ludicrous Shakespearean accent for Hyperion??

A master of dialects I am not

Heavy. 8)
Shakespearean you say? Sound like you have a cold or smth.. :P
My favorite is still your Chapman's Homer, that one's a great reading.

Your putfile site is very cool, Saturn! I can actually open all the files on my Mac!! Yea! Your Hyperion was quite Shakespearian, indeed  I could just imagine you in your smoking jacket, pipe in hand, sitting before the fire with the cat laying at your feet as you read those immortal words.

In all honesty, I think it was one of your better readings. You read slowly and with great diction--it was a pleasure to listen to you!

I have a question--if I wanted to add more readings to the group you have, how would I get the file where it needs to go? Do I send it to you via e-mail and then you upload it to your putfile site?

Despondence, thanks for the kind word about my reading--I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :D

That would probably be the best thing to do.

And Despondence, and all of you didn't notice that my 'Shakespearean'accent for Hyperion was actually supposed to be an English accent.

Aw well, back to the drawing board
