Here is something a wrote yesterday--to help explain how I feel.

An Artifice

How do I turn you into mine?
That is,
My own phantasm and creation,
So sinewy and fine spun
That you gallop right out
Of my humming imagination.

I’ll wager
That you’d rush back
Inside my head,
Unnerved,
That you might entreat
Your own
idea or two—

Which could quite
Temper
The way I imagine
You.

Excellent - that describes the feeling perfectly.

Very eloquent and moving.

You are ridiculously talented Denise

'humming imagination' - wonderful turn of phrase there.

Stop! Please. Don't--please, don't stop... :P

Seriously, I'm flattered you'd even think my work was worth a skim.
I'm more than sure I'll litter up this forum with more of my verse as time goes by...
