Uh. . . I think so. This was over three years ago that I used it, and I don't remember much about the particulars of it.

I had a friend that was really big into Reason. I almost got the software from him, actually, but never did

He used it a lot for creating techno-backgrounds and such.
Perhaps it's better that I stuck to the simpler stuff, though. He's way better at this kind of thing than I am
Actually. . . if you go to iTunes and search for "Muziko Nova", you'll get an album called "Music from the Hill 2005". You can hear a bit of a sample of his piece "Transmogrifications" that rocks the world in about a million different ways. He used Reason a lot to create that one, I think; it's a combination of live trumpet and electronic recording.
If you're really brave, I have a piece on that CD too. . . "Atmosphere". I'm a bit distressed (OK, way distressed) that it's up on iTunes, considering that it's a pretty horrendous recording, but no use in hiding it
