Yes! That's the first one that popped into my head. Actually, in all my musings on what "Keats on film" would/should look like, this is the scene that is most vivid in my mind.
And I think if we have Andrew Motion helping with this thing as well, we're sure to see some good stuff of the voyage to Italy and subsequent scenes from Rome (re: his TV special).
I'd love to see the Immortal Dinner as well, but methinks that for sake of time constraints, this is something likely to be cut.
One thing I'll be very sad not to see? Keats dropping his "Italian cuisine" out the window.
Another one would be Severn sketching his deathbed portrait of Keats. It could just be a very brief few moments on the screen, but it'd be nice to see a little bit of Severn both in his relationship with Keats and as an artist.
Oh! And some little tiff between Keats and Fanny. . . some point where she goes off to a party without him, knowing that he doesn't approve.
The list goes on and on. If only the world were perfect and you could fit all these things in a 2-hour (would we be so lucky to get a little more, please pretty please?!) feature-length film!
