New Poem

Quiet self loathing
Leaves all other thoughts eclipsed.
My heart now rent assunder,
Unencumbered pain falls freely past it's breach.

Hands that once held her tight,
Now hang idle by my side.
In a smoke filled Soho room,
I stand apart and try to hide.

She moves around the floor,
Blown as a leaf on air.
As I shelter from winter's chill,
I feel the ghost of her fingers through my hair.

Like a willow tree, I hang my head
And shuffle through the leaves,
Past memories now invade my mind,
Stirred by past autumn's breeze.

Jade eye's that once reflected me,
Now mirror someone else.
I have tried to mask the pain she caused,
But now just quietly loath myself.
Dont touch my muffin

I have some competion in the self-loathing stakes
"Oh what a misery it is to have an intellect in splints".
