Alright...since you all say it's ok... :oops: :wink:

Once

I cheated on you once;
It was easy to do.
I walked right in the front door,
Didn’t even bother with the back,
And harbored what I knew
Like a jetty bay anchoring a liner.

You make me feel like a needling thief,
But he gives me what I ask for
Beneath
Patient, airy, heedful hands.

It was me all along—
Right there in the kitchen,
With the revolver,
My skin still flushing red;
While you left your game card
Checked and penciled properly,
It was also unguarded,
So I solved it,
And wore my victory
Like a scarlet coronet on my head.
"I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the heart's affections and the Truth of Imagination."
